Industry Leaders FOTO® and ReDoc Software Create Data Exchange

<FONT SIZE=+1 COLOR="#000000">Industry Leaders FOTO® and ReDoc Software Create Data Exchange </font>
Providing rehab therapists with the best-of-breed outcomes tool and documentation solution

Nashville, TN -- FOTO® and The Rehab Documentation Company, Inc (ReDoc Software) have created an interface to exchange data between their products. The integration will eliminate time-consuming, repetitive data entry and enhance workflow and efficiency.

FOTO® provides a data collection process and a risk-adjusted national comparative database for rehabilitation providers. FOTO® has over 1,500 participating providers across the country and abroad. The FOTO® outcomes system is recommended by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The data and reports that FOTO® provides are extremely valuable for quality assurance programs, clinic management, improving patient care, planning continuing education, and marketing to referring physicians and payers.

The reports that are produced are basically a report card that compares treatment effectiveness, efficiency, and patient satisfaction for each patient, therapist, and clinic to risk-adjusted national averages.

FOTO's PI® software offers both electronic and paper survey options for patients. The surveys are patient self report, utilizing the most advanced item response theory mathematics to provide impairment specific surveys that quickly focus on the patient's level of function.

July's ReDoc Featured Employee:

<FONT SIZE=+1 COLOR="#000000">July's ReDoc Featured Employee:</font>
Luke Sands, Vice President of Enterprise Sales, originates from Los Angeles, California. In 1995, like many others, he relocated to Nashville with his wife with musical aspirations. That same year, while playing in one of Nashville's many recording studios, he was introduced to a physical therapist by the name of Gerry Stone (ReDoc's founder and CEO). It was then that he observed Gerry drawing rough sketches of screens and drop down lists on a piece of paper while they were recording. When he asked what the drawings were, Gerry expressed his discontent with how time-consuming handwritten documentation was and how he wanted to create a system for not only himself but other therapists to be able to do the same thing via the computer. Luke never gave the conversation a second thought until around 1999-2000 and the birth of his second child. He soon realized that the $50 a gig he was making then would not provide his family with the comfort level that he dreamed of and decided that this "electronic documentation thing" was the wave of the future. He eagerly approached Gerry and asked if he could be a part of it all. When asked what he loves most about sales, Luke says, "I love working with people and solving problems (mostly work related). Therapists by nature are caregivers. I feel very fortunate to be in a position to help caregivers solve their business issues. One of the greatest benefits of our system is allowing the therapists to get back to spending more time with their patients. Also, if you asked him what he loves most about working at ReDoc, his answer is, "ReDoc is an amazingly supportive and dynamic work environment. Each of the employees believes in each other, and all share a common vision that "the customer always comes first". Luke has been with ReDoc now for 7 years. He and his lovely wife Ginger (Luke's college sweetheart) just celebrated 16 years together and they have two beautiful daughter ages 7 & 11.
