African American Alumni Association Scholarship Fundraiser - March 29
Enjoy an evening of dinner and entertainment as we recognize outstanding alumni and the 2007-08 student scholars. Last day to register is Monday, March 24. To purchase tickets, sponsor a table or learn more, go to http://alumni.lmu.edu/aaaafund.

The evening's entertainment is Samarkand: Rites and Rituals of Markets Old and New. LMU's Sunken Garden will undergo an elaborate transformation into a world market, based on the work of Nobel Laureate and President's Marymount Institute Professor in Residence Wole Soyinka. Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Alumni For Others at LMU
In 1998, the AFO program was initiated at St. Columbkille School in South Los Angeles, where alumni renovated the parish center and painted classrooms. Since then, LMU students and alumni have continued to support the school, as well as renovate 18 other inner-city Catholic Schools. Join us for this month's opportunities: Holy Innocents School in Long Beach; St. Peter's Mission School in Arizona; and Build a Miracle in Tijuana, Mexico.
