Dear Exhibitors:

The CDA Spring Scientific Session is fast approaching and we are on target for a successful annual meeting. The exhibit hall is larger than ever with approximately 150,000 square feet of exhibit space featuring the latest in dental technology and services.  Thousands of dental professionals are submitting pre-registration requests with total pre-registration numbers currently at 19,238.

In CDA’s continued efforts to improve our Scientific Sessions and exhibitor services, I am pleased to announce two new enhancements:

◊ CDA’s Exhibitor Success Center
◊ Exhibit Hall Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour

Please refer to the articles below for detailed information on these two exciting opportunities.

CDA thanks you for your partnership and continued support of our Scientific Sessions. I look forward to seeing you in Anaheim in May!

Sincerely,

Sue Gardner
Exhibits Manager

Exhibitor Success Center

CDA is pleased to announce the launch of our Exhibitor Success Center. In collaboration with The Exhibitor Institute, CDA now offers online exhibitor training and resources.  There are seven short, easy training modules to help both new and seasoned exhibitors with all aspects of exhibiting from pre-planning to sales strategies.  Exhibitors can also access our “e-coach” with questions to receive individual answers on your specific needs.

This online resource provides exhibitors unlimited access to comprehensive exhibitor planning, training and marketing information. Fred Fox, founder of the Exhibitor Institute, covers all the steps, strategies and practices to excel at the show. We encourage you to take advantage of this powerful educational resource.

Additionally, Fred Fox will present a complimentary exhibitor training seminar on-site at the Spring Scientific Session, on Thursday, May 1 at 3:30 p.m. The seminar is free to exhibiting companies and ice cream and refreshments will be provided. This is a great way to make the most out of your exhibiting experience at the Spring Session.

Exhibit Hall Wine Tasting Social

Attract attendees to your booth by providing wine, appetizers and refreshments during the Friday afternoon Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour from 4 – 5:30 p.m. This event provides exhibitors the opportunity to socialize and market to attendees in your own exhibit space or an adjacent area. Aramark, the Anaheim Convention Center’s official caterer, has developed several menu selections to suit your needs. Participating exhibitors will be included on signage and other advertising materials distributed on-site to promote this exciting event. The success of this event will depend on exhibitor participation! We hope you’ll take advantage of this new marketing strategy. To participate in the event or request more information, please contact Sue at sue.gardner@cda.org or 916.554.4952.

Anaheim, Orange County - It's So California

Home to world-famous theme parks and dozens of other attractions, the Anaheim/Orange County (OC) area is California's premier playground. From family fun such as Disneyland and Discovery Science Theatre to great shopping and fine dining, there is truly something for everyone. Here are just a few of the many attractions you can enjoy:

  • Spring Session exhibitors can take advantage of deeply discounted theme part tickets to The Disneyland Resort.
  • Be one of the first to experience Anaheim’s new GardenWalk, a unique outdoor shopping and dining experience, conveniently located near the convention center.
  • Test your skills at more than 40 championship golf courses with amazing views.
  • From Anaheim, it’s only a short drive to the six beautiful beach cities in the OC.
  • Take a day trip to Catalina Island, California's only island resort experience.

In addition, you can take advantage of the “Show Your Badge & Save” program, which provides promotional offers and discounts exclusively to exhibitors and attendees during the Spring Show.  All you have to do is show your event badge to save at participating restaurants, attractions, and much more. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to get the most of Anaheim! To learn more about the program and how to have fun in Anaheim visit anaheimoc.org/cda.
