Reliable measurements in Quality Control with the Thermo Scientific HAAKE Viscotester 6 and 7 plus 
The HAAKE Viscotester 6 plus and 7 plus can be used for tests and comparative measurements for quality control according to recognized standards such as ISO 2555, ASTM or BS standards.

The reduction of sample volume is possible if using adaptors. With the small sample adapter the sample volume can go down to 16 ml and for thin fluids the low viscosity adapter requires only 8 ml. Both adapters are desgined as a sample vessel made of stainless steel. The temperature jacket allows precise temperature control between -10 to 100°C. Determination of molecular weight distribution using elongation measurement method for improved processing 
The Thermo Scientific HAAKE CaBER is an extensional rheometer detecting very small differences in the molecular weight distribution.

For example, cellulosic derivates are used as thickening agents in plasters which are often applied by spraying and which implies strong elongational forces. These elongational forces are related to the elasticity of the polymer and hence the high molar mass fraction of the polymer.
