Albertson's Inc. announced it is selling all of its stores to three
new owners: SuperValu Inc., CVS Corp., and Cerebus Capital Management
LP.
Make no mistake about it...this deal is a very complex
transaction. The transaction results in all new owners to accounts,
new banner alignments, re-worked territories and hundreds more pieces
of location and hierarchy data changes. So for all of you very
excited marketers asking "what am I to do about reworking my customer
master files?" ...once the deal is final, TDLinx has an answer.

Data Network (BDN), the leading supplier of wholesaler sales data to
the wines and spirits industry. The acquisition strengthens
ACNielsen's ability to provide end-to-end coverage of the entire
Beverage Alcohol industry, and complements ACNielsen's existing
services for measuring retail sales of beer, wine and spirits.
