New White Paper: Point Code Emulation(TM)
Performance Technologies now offers Point Code Emulation
(PCE) on its SEGway(TM) platforms. PCE is designed as an
efficient SS7 network reconfiguration tool for moving and sharing
point codes to transparently retire legacy switches and migrate SS7
traffic to new softswitches without risk or service disruption. For
service providers looking to deploy multiple nodes under a single
point code in the PSTN, the
SEGway PCE node
also operates as a switch consolidator, allowing the provider to grow
their network transparently.
