Forward to a Colleague
February 13, 2007
Dear Fellow Advocate-

As winter slowly nears its end, Unite 2 Fight Paralysis presents a new logo, a new website and our latest big event, the Working 2 Walk Symposium & Rally 2007. Springtime will find us meeting with friends old and new at a 3-day event to remember in our nation's Capital City, Washington DC!

Mark your calendar--April 22, 23 and 24th.

The Working 2 Walk '07 website is now up and running. It will be updated daily as all the W2W '07 details are finalized. The Registration Page just went live; be sure to register soon! The Lodging Page is a day or two from finalized, the venues are falling into place and the maps will be up ASAP.

U2FP, in association with the Christopher Reeve Foundation, promises an educational, inspirational event for all advocates that share our dream-a cure for paralysis. We are happy to add Dr. Wise Young to the Symposium speaking roster, adding yet another boost to these days of education, advocacy and networking.

It's fun to look back at Working 2 Walk 2006 or at this rally '06 video from our friend ProfessirX to remember why we look forward to this time of year!

We hope to see you in DC in April!

Sincerely,
Your Friends at
Unite 2 Fight Paralysis

People Always Ask..
HOW CAN WE HELP??

1. SUBMIT TO BRIDGES 2 HOPE!

U2FP's award-winning project Bridges 2 Hope is especially important at this time of year. It is a way for advocates who can't travel to join the force for change. The print version was already a hit during one advocacy mission in Washington. See the Bridges 2 Hope slide show to fully understand the power your story holds.

It's not complicated to submit your story and favorite photo from your computer's hard drive. If you do that, U2FP promises to carry your story to Capitol Hill.

Just click the link, click on "Submit your story" and fill in the information blanks. Add a short paragraph about yourself...Perhaps how you or your loved one was injured, and definitely why you dream of a cure.

At the "Photo" box, click "Browse". Find the photo you've chosen and select it. Click the permission box, submit and voila! You are part of a contingent that will rally and lobby for a cause we believe in-a cure for paralysis.

2. INFORM YOUR FRIENDS!

If you have friends that share your interest in this cause, we hope you'll forward this newsletter to them. Just click the "Forward to a Colleague" button at the top left of this bulletin. It's easy!

3. DONATE!

Registration fees don't cover the costs of an event like Working 2 Walk. Any financial support you can offer will be greatly appreciated and carefully used to defray such costs as venue rentals, audio-visual equipment, rally stage/sound, refreshments and the catering of a seated lunch . As little as $10 can go far to ensure a quality event for our community. U2FP is an all-volunteer nonprofit tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization. Donating is easy via check or PayPal, here.

4. BE A SPONSOR!

Unite 2 Fight Paralysis is seeking corporate donors and sponsors for Working 2 Walk 2007. Exhibit space is available at the Symposium venue. The Working 2 Walk Sponsor Page offers sponsorship packages for a variety of preferences, ranging from $300 to $10,000.
