Congratulations to Kelly Croghan, PT from Lumina of
Elizabethtown! Our 2007 1st Quarter Winner of a new digital camera.
Thank you for your opinion and your feedback!
Here is what Kelly has said about using ReDoc Software:
"At first I resisted the format of ReDoc. My computer skills were limited and the system overwhelmed me. I just used the ReDoc free writing boxes to put my evaluation, progress notes, etc. The PTA I work with encouraged me to use the ReDoc format so she could better follow my plan, keep track of goals and document progress. So I eventually made the switch and got the training ReDoc offered. I am pleased to report that the ReDoc system is working for me now instead of against me. It has actually made documentation easier. Go figure."

Drowning in Paperwork? You don't have to.. See how two clinics found
the right solution!

Physical therapy has traditionally been a paper-intensive process.
Whether we see two patients or 20 a day, completing documentation is
a big part of what therapists must do. Of course, compliance is a
required part of the industry. But it disrupts patient care, takes up
valuable treatment time and significantly limits a therapist's
ability to run a business efficiently.
Several years ago, Flex Rehab in South Florida was busting
at the seams and our expansion efforts showed no signs of letting up.
Since the base of our business is geriatric outpatient care, we
typically staff one therapist per location at our eight facilities.
But we realized we needed a solution to replace the
manually-intensive paper trail.
Continue to see how Flex Rehab solved their paper trail problem....
Advanced Therapy & Sports Medicine (ATSM), an outpatient
facility with 3 physical therapists, 3 physical therapist assistants
and two front office staff was started in May 2005. Prior to May 2005
we had worked for a national company for 10 years and had ownership
of the practice the prior 12 years accumulating a storage unit full
of patient charts.
An early strategic goal for ATSM was to be totally paperless with
patient documentation. It seemed like a daunting task. However, as we
went to work, we met this goal in December 2005. We went from storage
cabinets full of charts, cumbersome to manage, to a small file pocket
six inches thick for 2006. This represented an entire year of patient
documentation we are required to keep on site. Great partners,
willing employees, and flawless technology made this journey
feasible. Here is our story.
Contiune to see how Advanced Therapy & Sports Medicine found a paperless solution....

ReDoc and Microsoft Windows Vista - Recommendations

At this time it is not recommended that our users run Windows Vista
with ReDoc versions 6.x or earlier. We are working to certify
Windows Vista for use with ReDoc 6.x.
For our ReDoc 7 customer we recommend that they disable their
User Account Controls (UAC). here are some instructions on how to do
so.
1. Open Administrative Tools in Control Panel
2. Double-click on System Configuration
3. Click Continue to accept the UAC prompt
4. Select the Tools tab
5. Scroll down and select Disable UAC
6. Click Launch
7. Reboot your machine
If a user chooses not to disable this feature, they will have to
work more closely through out the entire installation granting
permissions each step of the way.
For additonal questions please contact our technical support
department at 1.888.401.4400, option 2. You may also contact them by
