Wanted: Your Mind Mapping Software Success Stories
|
 |
According to the surveys of users of mind mapping software that I
have conducted, one of the biggest needs that many of you have is to
see examples of successful software-produced mind maps, and to
understand what makes them work. In other words, many of you are
looking for case histories that illustrate some of the best practices
of visual mapping.
As part of my research for an expanded and updated second edition
of my popular
Power Tips & Strategies for Mind Mapping Software
e-book, I have decided to address this need by collecting mind
mapping case histories from you, the readers of this e-newsletter. If
you have used mind mapping software to create a visual map that meets
your needs exceptionally well (it has saved you time, helped you
solve problems or handle "information overload" very effectively, for
example), I'd like to hear from you. I'd like you to submit a case
history and send me a screen shot of your favorite
productivity-increasing map.
To make this easy, I have created a Word document where you can
submit your information to me in a structured format. To download
this form,
please click on this link
and follow the instructions to save the document to your computer.
The document contains instructions and guidelines to help you gather
your thoughts and write your case history.
What's in it for you? If I use your case history in my e-book,
you will receive a free copy of it when it is published (hopefully a
few months from now!). In addition, you will have the satisfaction of
knowing that you're contributing to a growing body of knowledge of
the best practices of software-produced visual maps.
I'm already getting some really interesting case histories, from
which I think you're really going to benefit. Great stuff! I look
forward to hearing from you, too!
P.S.: If you're unsure what to send, or if I can use what you're thinking of submitting, please don't hesitate to drop me an e-mail at chuck@innovationtools.com.

The Mind Mapping Power Pack
|
 |
The Mind Mapping Power Pack
is a set of e-books and video learning sessions that can help you to
learn some fresh, new ways to utilize your visual mapping software.
For example, author Marcus Ingemann explains: - How to compare
several similar opportunities, utilizing placement and coloring of
your map elements to highlight the pros and cons of each opportunity.
- How to visualize your goals, step by step, using a visual map.
- How to visualize the "flow" of a project or process that
you're working on.
- How adding color to your map topics causes your mind to interpret them as if they were on different "layers."
The Mind Mapping Power Pack is available on CD, and comes with a
number of bonus resources, including 4 videos, several
productivity-enhancing techniques and a workbook containing blank
maps from the main e-book that you can use for practice.
