Thanks to all of you who responded to our first newsletter with
suggestions on how to improve The Tree Files. A majority of
responders asked for more "Tech Tips" - so this issue will include
two new tips, plus advance notice of our 2007 training schedule, our
new consultants database and advance notice of one of the principal
features to be included in the soon-to-be-released TreeAge Pro 2007.
The upcoming v2007 release of TreeAge Pro takes the software to a
new level of flexibility and customizability. This has been
accomplished by integrating into TreeAge Pro 2007 all of the
scriptability previously available only to developers of TreeAge Pro
Interactive applications. TreeAge Pro users will gain access to the
flexible scripting features originally designed for the Interactive
version, enabling more powerful linking between TreeAge Pro and
programs like Excel that have scripting/macro capabilities. For
example, simple Excel macros can be written very quickly that control
TreeAge Pro 2007, opening and modifying trees and influence diagrams,
and performing custom or built-in analyses.
Watch for more details about the 2007 release in next month's
newsletter.
