Dear Exhibitors:

On behalf of the Scientific Sessions Board of Managers, I would like to thank you for your partnership and participation in our Scientific Sessions. Thanks to you, our tradeshow is one of the best in the nation and offers attendees a shopping experience like no other.

The Spring Scientific Session is just around the corner, and it promises to be our best show yet! This year marks our largest tradeshow to date, and we have worked hard to provide you with enhancements to make your show experience a valuable one. For example, I hope you take advantage of CDA’s Exhibitor Success Center’s online tools and the on-site seminar and booth critiques provided by Fred Fox of the Exhibitor Institute. The Exhibit Hall Culinary and Wine Tasting Tour is also a new opportunity that exhibitors can leverage to capture the attendees’ attention.

Our current attendee pre-registration count is at 20,890, and we will provide final Spring Session statistics in our May issue of Connection. If you have any questions as you prepare to leave for Anaheim, please don’t hesitate to contact Sue Gardner, exhibits manager, at 916.554.4952. Here’s to another successful meeting!

Sincerely,

Anthony L. Perez, DDS
Chair, Scientific Sessions Board of Managers

Important Show Information and Attendance Demographics

To assist exhibitors with making the Spring Scientific Session a successful tradeshow, we are providing a tip sheet that includes valuable information on show enhancements, on-site services and attendance demographics. For example, the tip sheet provides details on on-site services such as the exhibitor lounges with cash and carry lunch options and locations of the service desk and Internet café. Pre-registered attendance information, badge holder color and attendee demographics are also included. We encourage exhibitors to share this information with your staff who will be working at the meeting.

Post Show Attendance Information and Exhibitor Survey

Within five days following the CDA 2008 Spring Scientific Session exhibitors will receive an e-mail from Sue Gardner, Exhibits Manager, with the final attendance numbers for the show. This information will include a breakdown of attendance by each registration category to assist you with your post show reports. Additionally, exhibitors will receive a post show survey to provide feedback on your exhibit experience. Exhibitor feedback is very important to CDA as your concerns and suggestions enable us to enhance our future Scientific Sessions and exhibitor services.

Mark Your Calendars - CDA 2008 Fall Scientific Session

The Moscone South Convention Center in San Francisco is the site for our Fall Scientific Session, September 12-14. The exhibitor prospectus with floor plan, exhibit application, hotel information and show information is available on our Web site at cda.org.

Let People Know You'll be at the Spring Session

Many of you have used the graphic we provided in our last issue to promote your exhibit booth with your customers and colleagues by including it in your email signature and Web site. We now have a simple tip you can use to personalize the graphic! Simply type your booth number below the graphic to let your audience know exactly where to find you. As a reminder, to use the graphic all you have to do is right click on it, copy it and then paste it into your email signature and/or Web site. This serves as a great reminder for your audience to look for you at the show!
