Wake Forest Marketing Summit
Dear Colleague,
It is my pleasure to invite you and your students to participate
in the 17th annual
Wake Forest University Marketing Summit,
which brings together top marketing minds from around the country
for one of the premier marketing events of the year. |
|
The brightest and most creative minds from outstanding
undergraduate schools and MBA programs will join Fortune 500-level
CMOs and CEOs from around the country February 8-11, 2007, in
Winston-Salem, N.C. Each year, this event is sponsored by an
industry-leading company. Past sponsors have included Yahoo!,
Coca-Cola, Microsoft, GlaxoSmithKline and Apple.
This year's undergraduate case competition begins October 30 and
features a three-phase case, with information on each phase made
available to teams on the Marketing Summit Web site. Other event
highlights:- The competition is open to teams of undergraduate
students from top universities (one team per school).
- Teams are
challenged to develop strategic solutions to real-world marketing
issues.
- Teams have two weeks to prepare and submit their
solutions.
- The top three teams will be invited to February's
Summit to present their recommendations to a panel of CEOs and CMOs
from leading companies. Last year's panel included CMOs from Verizon,
Disney, Jet Blue and HBO.
This is a wonderful
opportunity for undergraduate students to:- Compete against
students from the best schools in the nation.
- Participate in
several networking events with top executives from leading
companies.
- Interact with participants from the best MBA programs
in the country.
- Win and take home significant cash prizes.
